A quit smoking app that does not need your email

Many cessation apps want an account, a feed, and permission to remember you in the cloud. That is a lot of friction for someone who just needs to get through an urge in a bathroom stall. Hold90 is local-first: quit date, holds, slips, savings, and health milestones live on this device.

What Hold90 actually does

It is a 90-second craving hold with six calm games, a smoke-free clock that does not reset on a slip, a journal of holds and triggers, money saved toward a wishlist, and a body timeline. You can use it in the browser or install it to the home screen. After the first visit, the installed app works offline. Payments later use an anonymous device ID — still no email.

Why no account is a feature

Sign-up screens are where quits stall. They also turn a private health habit into a profile. Hold90 stores data in the browser. Clearing site data erases it, same as deleting a native app’s local store. That is the trade: you own the device copy; we do not keep your streak on a server to market back to you.

Who it is for

People who want a tool for the peak, not a social network. People who have slipped and refuse to zero the clock. People who care about privacy, or who are sharing a phone. It is not a doctor, a patch, or a guarantee. It is 90 seconds you can finish.
